August 11, 2025 - Black-chested Honeyeater (Lichmera notabilis) These honeyeaters are found on the island of Wetar in Indonesia in and around forest, scrub, and gardens. They forage in the canopy and in vine tangles alone and in groups of two, possibly feeding on nectar, though the details of their diet are not known. Nothing is known about their breeding behavior.
