The Liddell Disease is a disease in which one falls asleep and never wakes up. The thing that sets this disease apart from others is that it has no bacterial, viral or parasitic basis - it is caused by one of the laws of the world beginning to break down. This law is that the human world and Wonderland should never meet, as one is complete and the other is not.

Wonderland is, in a way, sentient. It’s very alive and all-knowing. That being said, it won't mess with people as long as they don’t mess with it. If you cause chaos in wonderland, it will retaliate, however. It will take everything it knows about you and throw it right back in your face.
