one minute she’s walking (practically bouncing) along main street on the way home and the next she is laying on her back on the pavement. the sound of giddy laughter floods the street as just she lays there. ‘the sky looks nice today, doesn’t it?’ she says to no one in particular, promptly reaching upwards - waiting for some kind stranger to give her a hand.
It wasn’t everyday that one almost trips on someone laughing while laying on the sidewalk. Hell! Levi was pretty certain that most people don’t go around tripping on bodies. He had caught himself before he had ran the kid over. Glancing up towards the clouds before frowning at her he moved to help her up. “Nice sky or not kid, that's a pretty dangerous cloud gazing spot.” he grumbled as he pulled her upwards. “I almost crushed you,”
