I was tagged by the lovely  jillypups to write down 5 Things that make me happy. So, let’s go!

1. Being underwater. Seriously: if I’m stressed or angry or sad, I just have to fill a bathtub and submerge for a while to feel better. In slightly scarier news, I get so calm underwater that I feel like I can/should take a nap.

2. Being in the same room as friends. Let me sit in your house and tumblr/write/read, and I will be the happiest camper.

3. Getting messages from people in any way/shape/form. It just makes me ecstatic. Paired with this is when people tell me I’m good at things.

4. Breathing in clean air. Southern California is not so great at providing this, but as someone with asthma, clean air is a godsend.

5. Reading a really good book. If you write a story that makes me stay up until 3 in the morning, there’s a good chance I’m in love with you. (Looking at you, jillypups)

Favourite books: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Angels and Demons Favourite animals: Foxes, otters, seals Favourite shows: Game of Thrones, Agent Carter, The 100.... (oh gosh, I haven’t watched TV in a really long time... spend help [recommendations])  Favorite musician/band: I have sunk back into my Panic! at the Disco / Linkin Park phase, but I’m listening to Fall Out Boy for the first time ever. Favorite games: Boogle, Scrabble, Rummikub, Mafia, Clue...  Last movie I’ve seen in the cinema: Into the Woods!! Dream Holiday: Scotland! And the big parts of Europe for historical / architectural reasons Dream job: Novelist. I love storytelling, and I’d love to just write all day long. Wearing right now: This kinda strangely-cut tank top and jeans (in other news, I’m really bad at putting on pajamas at a reasonable time) Last book I read: Storm Front by Jim Butcher, as recommended by a friend. Fantastic, by the way. Currently reading The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak.
