" yoru formally closes their meeting, noting that the hours were getting late given how the skies were darkening. ( he needed to get used to that. ) given the eden clouds was more of a floating temple that wanders space, they had technology that allowed them to utilize an illusion of night and day whenever they pleased. experiencing the shift in daylight and night time in a more natural way was definitely new.

before yoru could finish gathering his paperwork, he stiffens to a stop under jing yuan's request, surprise faintly evident in his eyes. the general himself is asking him to stay. some part of him, in the midst of his bemusement, couldn't help but let out a small, sheepish scoff. " ... the dozing general himself is asking me to stay ? that's a bit surprising, sir. " he throws in ' sir ' almost playfully, but despite the sarcasm, his hands were already setting down the paperwork and pushing it aside. " well .... since you're asking. i don't see why not ... i might as well indulge in the xianzhou hospitality. "

out of all the factions he's come across, both in his records and in person, very few had the mastery over peering into the future like the divination commission had. yet all they could do was simply that: peer into the endless possibilities for the future and trying to alter course to achieve the best possible one. dan heng found it especially interesting especially when contrasted against the memokeepers, who sought their work in the past. time was such a fickle thing, and something always in shortage.

        oh swoon.  i actually have some possible thoughts about this.  although i'll have to slip into your im's and we can toss thoughts back and forth, if you'd like.   because i know there's a lot of potential for interactions between these two.  i feel like rover would in general vibe pretty well with jing yuan, no matter whether it's in an hsr or wuwa setting, or even a crossover.  on the other hand, i also have your starter i need to reply to  (  i have it setting in my drafts.  just have to get my head out of wuwa and ffxiv for a bit to respond to it.  )

I   don't   know   Jing   Yuan   very   well   but   he   seems   to   give   off   the   vibe   of   a   strong   leader   while   also   having   a   gentle   heart.   It's   admirable.

the compliment makes him frown slightly, intense teal eyes glancing away from the taller man. he dearly wished to not have this power, to not have the rolling and crashing waves of ancient dragons beneath his skin. if he could switch his powers with bailu, and have the power of healing and life instead of death and destruction, then he would in a heartbeat. and yet, a part of him wished that his fighting style was his own, or at least partly his own, just to have something to call his own.

sunday has no strong preferences for colors generally, but he also just kind of gravitates towards lighter colors ( both because of his robes and also just because he really likes pastels / light purple ). when it comes to reading emotions and auras though, colors are very important. auras and emotions generally follow the archetypes for them ( blue for sad, red for passion, etc. ), and this was particularly helpful during his time as a confessor.
