Curate your online-experience. I will use the block function as needed and encourage you to do the same should you deem it necessary. This place is for fun and should be treated accordingly. Any behavior I deem harmful to myself or others will result in a hard block. Edit: If I interact with people who meet those criteria, I very much appreciate you letting me know. I tend to keep to myself and miss a lot of drama going around as a result. I will verify any information and then decide accordingly. All I request is open communication and proof being provided.

That being said, so long as no real person gets hurt and controversial issues are treated as controversial and approached respectfully, I don't care what you ship/write. Blanket censorship is the death of critical thinking and by its very nature serves as a curation of what can/cannot be broached publically, without considering nuance or context. Personal takes aside, what matters to me is that such contents can be avoided and are clearly marked as sensitive. I personally don't write any dead dove and fiercely draw the line at in//cest and r//ape, so those are contents you won't ever see from me. And there never ever will be pictures (real or otherwise) that could be deemed unsavory. In the case that any contents or ships that do feature on this blog upset you, don't hesitate to distance yourself. (This is something I kindly suggest be applied to all online discourse.) The same applies to frequently occuring themes should they cause you discomfort. I sincerely hope this doesn't come off as patronizing. Given recent happenings in the hsr rpc, I wish to be as transparent as possible. You're welcome to reach out via IM if you have any questions.

I love graphics, but my eyesight is poor (as in, I am close to blind without contact lenses). If you wish for me to read something (e.g. character backstory), I need it to be presented in a way that doesn't cause eye strain. I won't read texts that require me to go out of my way to make them legible.

I no longer play Genpact. I've completed Fontaine, but I'm not at all interested in Natlan and the new content since. (I'm also behind on hsr since Amphoreus isn't really doing it for me either.) I'm perfectly willing to write with muses I'm not familiar with, but please know I won't know anything about them and won't pre-establish any connections from the game since I haven't experienced them.

Lastly, I WORK FULL TIME AND AM PURSUING A MASTER'S DEGREE. I love rp and can't imagine a life without writing in some capacity, but I am often drained or simply don't have the time to do so. Activity will be focused on the weekends or when work slows down. Sadly, I don't have the energy for novella-type responses. Multi-para is fine and will happen naturally, but please don't throw novella-length starters my way without having discussed it first. I won't be able to reply consistently, which will result in low motivation on my part and threads being dropped. I'm not happy about this, but that's simply the reality.

( A minor note relating to the previous one: I'm an English teacher. I don't mind if English isn't your first language (it isn't mine either), but I won't be able to write with you if you consistently make severe grammar mistakes in your writing. I don't mean to be rude, it simply makes it difficult to turn off my work brain since I'm drilled to correct student texts. I come here to unwind and would like to not think of work when I do. Belated Happy New Year! I'm popping in to say that this blog will remain on hiatus for a while longer. I'm considering returning on a different blog eventually, but I'm not sure when/if that will be. I'm still around to chat on dis.cord with those who added me there!

I adore my muses, but I'm thinking the distance from this website has done me some good. Writing is the one thing I could never do without, so I have no doubt I'll stick with it. I'll just need to figure out what fandom spaces I am willing to engage with going forward and to what extent. In the meantime, big thank you to everyone who's been writing with me on here. It's had its ups and downs, but the ups I truly, dearly cherish.

     ۪ ⸰° .  She didn't want this. She didn't want to be here. She didn't want to feel so helpless and stuck. The sting of his words came anyway and added to the nausea churching in her stomach, barely keeping her body from tremoring. Flinching so subtly as he moved.

     ❝ I.. Guess it doesn't hurt to tell you there was an official request to look into the building. But if they knew you were here.. They wouldn't have sent just me. It was just listed as a homeless rowdy complaint. ❞ She's feeling awfully brave despite how her breathing stammers between words, at least she hopes that's how it looked with her pitiful display. This was terrifying for being almost a casual conversation. She of course knows better than that - yet the notion still stands.

     ❝ I-I know.. I just.. ❞ Just what? What is she even meant to do? She'd cry a little if she were back in her the safety of her dorm room able to forget the ordeal - but no one was here. No one was saving her. Not yet. ❝ I.. ❞ She dryly swallowed, she didn't want to die is all that echoed in her mind. ❝ I know I can't demand anything.. Going to kill me? ❞ Her voices cracks only a little at the tiny question that escapes at the end. She's genuine in her belief she'd be useless to him and feels pitiful.

Tomura catches her flinch as any predator would a droplet of blood. He enjoys it, really, smiling just a little bit wider. If what the girl says is true, the league had been right to relocate earlier that day. Their presence is always bound to draw attention eventually, whether from heroes or opposing villain groups, so it's paramount to keep moving until a safer option presents itself.

His nail digs in slightly, and his smile vanishes just as quickly as it had appeared. ❝ You ought to learn to listen if your life is dear to you. ❞ And it is. Regardless of her backstory, she's clearly not broken down enough to forfeit her life so easily. That much, he can tell just by looking at her.

Tomura shifts where he's sitting, wondering if the movement will get another flinch out of her. ❝ I already told you. I hate repeating myself. ❞ Dragging his palm and most of his fingers against the couch's armrest, he stands and takes several unhurried steps toward the girl. ❝ I can and will kill you unless you join the League for the foreseeable future. Choose now, or I'll do it for you. ❞

Hostage or not, Tomura knows plenty ways to make her useful.

           ⊹  ࣪  ˖  ――  𝐇𝐄  𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐊  𝐇𝐈𝐒  head,  ignoring  every  ache  in  his  body  in  favor  of  sitting  himself  up.  He  threw  his  legs  off  the  side,  taking  in  a  deep  breath  to  decrease  the  vertigo.  Why  would  he  allow  them  the  chance  to  take  𝐃𝐀𝐍  𝐅𝐄𝐍𝐆  away  from  him  again?  𝐉𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐘𝐔𝐀𝐍  took  his  hand  with  a  shaky  grip  before  pressing  it  against  his  chest.  He  had  to  know  the  lengths  he  would  go  for  him.  He  had  to  know  what  he  had  done  these  past  few  centuries.  There  was  no  heartbeat  under  their  finger  tips. 

           ⊹  ―――  𝐀𝐋𝐋  𝐇𝐄  𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃  to  do  was  hold  him  close  as  he  used  to.  But  he  couldn't.  Centuries  of  isolation  or  whatever  else  the  former  𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇  𝐄𝐋𝐃𝐄𝐑  had  gone  through  since  their  separation  undid  all  those  years  of  progress.  A  task  that  the  𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋  would  take  up  again  if  he  was  allowed  to.  But  first  he  had  to  admit  the  existence  of  the  blood  on  his  hand.  He  had  killed  far  more  than  abominations.  Another  wave  of  pain  hits  his  chest,  blood  peeking  through  his  bandages.

Dan Feng wants to laugh, not because their circumstance is humorous in any way but because tears alone don't encompass the enormity of what he is feeling. The stillness beneath his palm sends a shiver down his spine, only for the sight of red to startle him out of the mental fugue he was daring to fall into. ❝ Your wounds— ❞ he gasps, sucking in air. He hurriedly rises from his seat and pushes against Jing Yuan's shoulders in an attempt to guide him back down on the bed, but he knows there's no moving him unless he allows it. (Even though Dan Feng's body is stronger than that of a human male, he understands this battle to be a lost cause entirely.)

Again, he has to blink against tears, cursing himself before roughly wiping his eyes. Dan Feng hurts, and he can't stand the thought of Jing Yuan feeling a physical burden on top of everything else. ❝ I saw when I treated you, ❞ Dan Feng curtly says, frustrated with himself first and foremost. It is a knot coiling more and more tightly within his stomach, pulling at his being from all sides. He understands why Jing Yuan wanted power. Still, he wishes to tear apart the aeon who dared lay hand on the heart Dan Feng knew to be his once.

He'll kill THEM. He'll turn against anyone who touched Jing Yuan, who made him suffer again and again. He'll save himself for last.

Forcing himself to calm, Dan Feng takes Jing Yuan's hand into his own and places it atop his chest, just like the general had done earlier. Only silence will great him; silence and the rot bubbling up from deep within Dan Feng's soul.

❝ I'm a monster, now more than ever. ❞ Jing Yuan and Bailu are the last two threads holding together the patchwork of his fraying sanity. ❝ Whatever you did, whatever you will do, it doesn't matter. ❞ His grip tightens around Jing Yuan's hand. ❝ Do you understand? ❞

I'm enjoying my time away from tumblr, started a new hobby, did my Xmas shopping, sorta kinda in the process of cleaning up the mess that is life.

I've been dabbling with chaos zero nightmare the last few days, and I think I just had the luckiest 10-pull of my life.

Not super into the story or characters just yet. It reads as lots of boob = sales. But the gameplay is fun and easily digestible for when I'm tired and/or burnt out from other things. Them throwing free pulls at you sure is helping too--

All her body was frozen, half with her terror but half as she was so on edge - unable to spare a glance around her environment in fear of taking her eyes off of him, and trying to recall the pathways and layout she had been through just moments prior - trying to work out ways to escape. Chestnut eyes bore into him with the determination she was mustering within herself and willing her heart to stop beating within her ears.

     ❝ It was just a run down building -- ❞ She starts, trying to keep her voice from shaking. ❝ I was just being a good passer by, checking in. ❞ Not the full truth, but he didn't really need that. Still she wished there were signs, that she knew-- That she wasn't here alone with him as she listens to him be so unnervingly casual while saying such horrid things.

I don't really want to die - but I don't think joining forces with you is something that could actually be of any benefit to you. ❞ Sure she knew things about some of the heroes and students and the like, but no more than really what the League wouldn't already know - especially if they have spies within. ❝ I just make things float after all. ❞ Selling herself small is a low tactic but she'd do what it takes while obviously not making comment on the mention of Toga. She herself is just trying to bide time - even if she is used as leverage she thinks it wouldn't have been a smart choice..

     She tries not to think about the fact no one would consider her missing until later in the evening if she didn't return..

Does she take him for a fool? Tomura feels a familiar itch travelling up his throat as he listens to her, and it's urging him to cut this conversation short in a determinedly final way.

He stays silent for a moment longer than is bound to be comfortable, eager on at least making her sweat a little. ❝ Well, you aren't good at being a hero. Even if this building is technically abandoned, your actions now are still considered trespassing. ❞ UA is quick to throw teenagers into combat, but does it ever bother teaching them about the laws they are meant to enforce?

He reaches up to his neck now, tracing one of the scars there with his nail. The divots are deep; self-inflicted over years of irritation. ❝ If you're so useless, why bother becoming a hero in the first place? ❞ He smiles at her then; a scary thing splitting his lips. ❝ You don't get to make demands now. We both know I have the upper hand here. ❞

...Expect me to be very spotty till probably February? I kicked my ass into gear (shoutout to a friend, she's a terrifying force of nature) and have started the process of coordinating my final exam to complete my studies for good.

The war in Natlan had been... difficult, yes, knowing there were so many people that died, but it's not what weighed on him the most. It took a minute, but eventually, he sighed.

"I met with my sister again." Aether confessed, eyes on the horizon. He was composed, only a rueful smile on his face spoke of his feelings towards the matter. "I don't... even know what I'm doing anymore, really. She keeps telling me I'll understand at the end of my journey, but I don't know."

Friendship is a concept that Xiao doesn't fully understand even after years of being the traveler's friend. It's a fault of his he has long been aware of but doesn't know how to fix. Thankfully, the traveler is forgiving - too much so if Xiao has any right to comment.

He leans back against the balcony's railing, arms crossed while he listens. This, at least, he can do. ❝ Based on what little I know about her, I don't believe she considers you a priority any longer. She causes you harm without apparent reason. ❞ Remaining loyal to someone who doesn't hold your best interest at heart is something Xiao has personal experience with. Devotion and care are how he expresses love, and he learned the hard way that not all are worthy of receiving it. ❝ I'm not well-versed in offering up words of comfort, ❞ he adds. ❝ But if there is anything I can do to lessen your pain, I implore you to tell me. ❞
