hello, long time follower! ive recently been to the jjba: ripples of adventure exhibition in tokyo, and wanted to know if youd like some pics (from what i was allowed to take a pic of), and some info about the exhibition

fic prompt: gyro x teddy bear. bonus points for puns.

Steel ball run spoilers for people who haven’t finished it?? But here you go:

It was the duo’s last stand. The entire journey through the various states of america led them to the final confrontation against the powerful and cunning president of the United States of America: Funny Valentine. It may have not been clear at first, but it was now obvious that this was their real endpoint: Either they die here, or he does. 

A lot was at stake, most notably the holy and influential corpse parts of the saint. Whether they breathe their last ounce of air here would decide more than just who the prize money goes to, but also the fate of how the world is going to operate from that moment forth. 

Gyro Zeppeli was more than ready to set the record straight, and while the steel balls were once again at his control --

He did not get to have a say at how this battle ends.

His life was cut short, as the president shot him down before he could do anything. He could only say his prayers now, and hope that Johnny has learned what matters the most during their time together. Failing to stay on his horse -- Gyro Zeppeli falls to the ground.

There was one more person who needed to hear his goodbyes, though. Well, not a person, per se; It was something precious to him: a teddy bear he kept as a good luck charm this entire race.

“Nyoho.. Guess this is where my deck is laid bear.” He mutters, as if almost sincerely. His vision begins to blare, and he can hear the faint scream of his partner, Johnny, in the distance. “It’s kind of unbearable to think.. that I would die here. I wish I could help Johnny one last time... with my bear hands.” 

His breathing begins to finally slow down. he can feel his heart stopping as he grips tightly to the teddy bear, his only true comrade in this race.

“I’m.... beary sorry, Teddy.” are Gyro Zeppeli’s last words. His spirit drifts away, and his body seems at peace.

Funny Valentine lets out a sign of relief. If he had to hear another pun, he would go there and shut Gyro’s pun loving mouth by himself. Johnny starts crying.

jotes is a marine biologist who’s on a deep sea diving expedition when he sees a rare manta ray that glows, following it to take good pictures he stumbles upon a strange creature’s performance with the migrating jellyfish population, what happens next may surprise you from how gay it is

idk, after some time it made me regularly check the box to see if the compartment corresponding to the day of the week was empty or not. it was always in my bag so it was within my vision a few times a day, as a reminder. try putting it at a place that you glance at a lot every day

Ive been doing exactly that for at least 20 years now. :) my problem is really not "forgetting", as I said in the post, I'm using that word because I have no other word for it. I don;t forget to take the meds, I just don't take them. it's not a conscious decision or something. there's no rational reasoning (though for a while I tried to give it one, it was stupid)

i also always forget. something that kinda helped me was buying a package divided to days of the week, that way if i forgot it would be evdient to me the next day bc the box was still full of pills i had to take. it kinda guilt tripped me to remember

wish that helped me too :( guilt seems to have no effect on this "forgetfulness", otherwise I would have been taking those meds regulary for years by now.

i was a desginer at CAMI15 but i really insisted on illustrating stuff too, so they let me lmao
