This bird is a member of the Lieothrichidae family. It's a fairly large bird of its type usually about 28cm in length. They build their nests in the dense undergrowth of forests, preferably in deep ravines. Their eggs are unlike any of the other Laughingthrush and resemble Oriole eggs; pure white in color with reddish or black spots.
