Carrying On

It’s strange when you have difficulty and then suddenly things are right It’s strange when you are struggling then suddenly have no fright The future seemed so very dark and sadness loomed in the air. Life is not a walk in the park but it’s terrible when we despair But when things seem finally okay sometimes it just feels strange You just go on with your day when yesterday, you filled with rage. This feeling’s a sort of weird relief Though you know it’s not over yet. You had momentary grief but you’ve placed a winning bet: A Winning Bet that you’ll aright no matter how the situation turns out.
