How to Start with your Seed of Life NFT

Buy a Seed of Life NFT from the TreasureDAO marketplace

Go to the official game website at life.treasure.lol

4. Enter the game and click on the "Tree of Life". Approve the Tree of Life to read your wallet.

The bubble over each realm indicates the number of other Life-forms who belong to that realm. Each Life-form will belong to two realms: a place of birth and a place of upbringing.

5. Click on "ADD SEED OF LIFE" and select as many of your seeds as you like to start the evolution process.

6. On the right hand side of the panel, click the "APPROVE" button to approve all the contracts until it shows "FILL ALL REQUIRED FIELDS"

7. Click on your Seed of Life in the left panel

8. Choose your realms in right hand side of the panel

Refer to the table below for the different skills that each realm can give you. You need to choose one realm for your birthplace and one realm for your place of upbringing.

Choose the realm that speaks to you most; we will find out more in Gen 1 of the game how these skills and realms affect gameplay. Later on, you will also be able to use skill reset potions to reset your skills if you would like to change them down the road.

9. After choosing your realms, click Next to choose your evolution path

You will then be prompted to stake treasures. If you choose evolution path III, your balancer crystal will immediately give you a baseline 20% chance of getting a skill reset potion (which you can use in Gen 1). Every additional T5 treasure you stake adds on 8% chance of getting the potion, while every additional T4 treasure adds on a 15% chance. You can stake any amount and any combination of treasures to reach the maxed out 100% chance of getting a skill reset potion.

If you kickstart the evolution process early enough (we don't know the specific deadline), you can receive 3 skill reset potions. If you are not interested in staking treasures for a skill reset potion, that is also okay.

If you leave your treasures staked for the entire duration of the 8-week evolution period, all treasures will be returned to you. If you unstake early, the treasures have a 15% chance of breaking (you don't get them back) and you will lose that additional bonus chance of getting the skill reset potion.

10. Finally, click "CONSUME" (you will find out what class your hero is assigned a few minutes after consuming the Seed) and watch your Lifeform grow and gain skills over the next 8 weeks! The artwork will evolve and your NFT will change as your hero goes through the 8 stages of its life. Keep a lookout for the skills your hero gains and we'll see you in Gen 1!

Introduction To Life NFT MMORPG: Gameplay Brief

Life is a never seen before MMORPG built atop of the blockchain, experimenting with the concept of life and death in games with NFT avatars. Life abstracts our humanity and the notion of an infinite afterlife into the metaverse.

Gameplay in Life will take place across two generations, Gen-0 and Gen-1. Gen-0 gameplay is formative and revolves around character building. Your Lifeform will start off as a baby and go through its own journey, gaining skills, experience and living life until it reaches the final step of its journey, death. However, death is just the beginning. Their death will see their souls imbued in crystals waiting for rebirth. The experience gained from its first Life will prepare them for gameplay in Gen-1.

As the whole game is built on the blockchain where transactions are immutable, decisions made in the game are final. Once your Lifeform starts on its journey in Gen-0, there is no turning back or restarting. Think carefully about the decisions you make.

MMORPG gameplay features such as crafting, dungeons and even world raids will be possible in the second generation. These features will then allow for you to start earning $MAGIC as well as items and equipment. There will be over 70K $MAGIC given out as gameplay rewards weekly. As the game develops and the world grows, so will the amount of gameplay features. Life is also set in the same universe as Bridgeworld so expect to see crossplay between these two games. E.g. Legions co-raiding world bosses with Life.

Staking Treasures in Gen-0

In choosing the 2 paid paths on evolution as mentioned above, users have a chance of receiving 1x skill reset potion at the end of 8 weeks. This probability can be increased through staking of treasure up to 100%. Refer to below table for drop rate and treasures staking boost:

Generation 0

All life starts with the “Seed Of Life”, a seed containing the essence of Life within it. Players can obtain a “Seed Of Life’ from buying it on the Treasure Marketplace here - https://marketplace.treasure.lol/collection/seed-of-life.

To get the seed to bloom and get your first Lifeform, you will need to consume it at the Tree of Life. Consumption of your seed will burn it (GONE) and replace it with a Lifeform. In choosing to consume your “Seed Of Life”, you will also need to decide if you will:

Pay no $MAGIC

Pay 50 $MAGIC

Pay 50 $MAGIC and stake 1 Balancer Crystal

These decisions will affect how your character grows and its rewards in Gen-0 of Life. Key differences in rewards between the 3 decisions are as followed:

1. No $MAGIC: Artwork evolves + imbued soul

2. 50 $MAGIC: Artwork evolves + imbued soul + learn skills

3. 50 $MAGIC + 1BC: Artwork evolves + imbued soul + learn skills + land deed

Do note that all of these $MAGIC will be recycled back into Life gameplay rewards.

Classes

As you consume your Seed of Life, it evolves into a Lifeform belonging to 1 of the 8 classes in Life. The 8 classes are split into the 4 rarity as below:

Common: Warriors, Mage

Uncommon: Priest, Sharpshooter

Epic: Summoner, Paladin

Legendary: Asura, Slayer

These Lifeforms are tradable on the Marketplace! (Prayers for Asura 🙏)

Primary Skills

Each class will come with its specific offensive class skill & additional skills will also be introduced in Gen-1. Skills play a huge role in Gen-1 activities. Refer to below image for the drop rates of classes and skills.

Secondary Skills

Beyond primary skills, characters can learn 2 secondary skills. These skills are realm specific and so it is important for players to think it through before choosing the two realms where their Gen 0 Lifeforms will live. Realms are basically the main continents in Life.

Important to note that you can’t choose the same realm twice and each secondary skill will be from a different realm. Each realm will have three secondary skills with varying levels of strength, Lifeforms will only be able to get one.

Generation 1

To compare it to a traditional MMORPG, Gen-0 is the grind to peak level where you build your character. Gen-1 is where you then have unlocked all gameplay features. All gameplay features in Gen-1 are free to play. The current available gameplay features are:

1. Dungeons

2. World Raids

3. Crafting

Dungeons

Every week, two dungeons in two realms will become active with every realm having unique drops, items and specific gear.

Lifeforms will therefore need to travel and explore all 8 realms to collect different sets of resources.

Players will be able to get $MAGIC and Treasure Chests from dungeons. The latter contains important items and equipment that will be worth much!

World Raids

World Raids are basically Co-op Boss Battles. These Bosses will appear every month with its legions of undead monsters attempting to destroy the realms. Lifeforms throughout the Realms will have to cooperate to defeat them and sometimes, the help of their Legions neighbours will be essential as well.

Failure to Triumph in World Raids will result in damage to the world and affect the $MAGIC emissions given out weekly. World Raids will also have higher possibility of rewards as well as higher ranked rewards than dungeons (Better Treasure Chests & more $MAGIC)

Crafting & Bridgeworld Integration

Lifeforms live in the same world as Legions and can do a few things together...

1. Cataclysmic World Raids that require both Lifeforms & Legions to band together. As mentioned above!

2. Clearing dungeons together.

3. BridgeWorld Treasures are needed for Crafting in Life.

4. BridgeWorld Treasures can also be equipped to make Lifeforms stronger.

5. Crafted Stamina Potions in Life can be used to reduce crafting time in BridgeWorld & also to recover stamina of Lifeforms.
