I work very early morning shifts, and I work with a significant number of teenage boy coworkers.
Here is a list of my favorite meals they have brought to work for breakfast:
- A singular, raw, whole carrot. Unpeeled and without dressing. Ate it like he was Bugs Bunny.
- Nearly a gallon of milk (AND COFFEE CREAMER) in various flavors. Ranging from chocolate, strawberry, to mint flavor. He brings this to work every day and finishes all of this milk and creamer. He smells like sour milk. Yes we have tried to stage an intervention and he didn’t listen.
- Brought no bag to work, but DID bring a singular plate. Which had an omelette on it covered in apple slices. Proceeded to put the empty plate in a locker.
- An entire leftover fillet mignon steak. Except he forgot to bring utensils. So he ate the entire thing with his bare hands like a feral wolf.
- A literal bucket of M&Ms
- A full course meal prepared by his mom. Included an extremely fancy omelette, pancakes, hashbrowns, and fresh fruit. He brought it in various Tupperware containers.
- Cereal, and his own gallon of milk. And a spoon. But forgot a bowl. Ate his meal by pouring cereal into his mouth and then taking a gulp of milk.
- Overnight Oats, which he was very excited to try. He then cried when he didn’t like them and got so upset we sent him home early
