Dimitri sighed, having to hold his own headset at a distance to prevent himself from potentially going deaf. Felix’s screeching was made only worse by the static and occasional cutting off due to their abyssal mics. They had been through FIVE rounds of the game already. FIVE.

They lose one to that pig killer and suddenly Felix has gone off the deep end. But, in his own defense, they had all left him to the fate of the hook. But what were they to do when he was being camped?

all force of will is siphoned into stopping her hand from trembling around the grip of her sword, and edelgard raises her wrist to wipe sweat from her brow. her arm aches and muscles may well be on fire, but if she gave felix a run for his coin at all, he hides it well. perhaps the fact that the sparring match ended with no clear victor and instead their instructor calling time on the affair should speak for itself, but edelgard herself knows that perhaps one or two more heavy strikes like the previous he had managed to land would have spelled the end for her. depending on his attitude, she might make a point of spelling that out. shifting her training sword into her left hand, she reaches the right out to shake felix’. 

    “i’m sure you’ve heard that before. what fuels your fervency? i shall have to take notes.”
