Since I am enjoying a few days off I decided to try something different in my art journey. I took an online class on the Skillshare app/website called “Draw Your Life: Intro to Illustrated Journaling” by Mimi Chao, and decided to do the homework. So I took a look back at a few days in my life in mid-November. I depicted a four-day period in which I served as a lector or reader at liturgies at my parish church and at the Cathedral of Christ the Light - I feel rather blessed if that kind of thing happens once or twice a month so having that occur several times within such a short period of time was rare and uplifting. When I became an SNJM Associate I started bringing Communion or the Eucharist to Catholic patients at a local hospital and I often pray with the people I encounter. Another kind of uplifting experience.
