there's something about the air I breathe. the sun that peaks over the horizon. or maybe it's another blessing, another day to live.

that voice I swore I heard it before. in another place where just our souls connect. somewhere far beyond this lustful world we live in.

The power of women. We love unconditionally even if we fathom that we are not receiving love back. We spill our soul through emotions and the warmth of our passion. “Our bodies are what is closer to God and the heavens” they say because we are able to carry, birth and raise His children. Known for our beauty we captivate even from afar. We bloom differently in our own way learning how to love ourselves. It is our nature to be the backbone of a man and to love and support.
In life I’ve learned to seek beyond the outside part of a person. To not judge by their looks, where they are from, how much money they have, what they do for a living etc.. I’ve fallen for a predator by asking such simple questions and answering them myself as if it is ALL of him. The real questions that should be asked are “Is he trustworthy?”… “Does he value you?”.. “Does he accept you for you?”… “How will he benefit you in your life?”.. “Does he deserve you?” etc.. I can look at a person and judge all I want. I can view the ocean and be “happy”… But when I close my eyes knowing the soul of a person and simply sensing their pure presence.. I can feel more. I’d rather dig deeper finding that someone’s everlasting song… leading me to my everlasting happiness.
When we feel numb our bodies physically goes through the motions of everyday life but sometimes our hearts and souls are not a part of it. As if our spirits had been ejected out of determined to remain in denial that the trauma had not happened. We begin to hide our true self and act differently towards others and ourselves. To overcome numbness is forgiving ourselves, letting go, and healing. To feel again. Love again. Live again.
