The key to living a successful live!
‘If our focus is always external, we lose internal strength’
We live in a world where there is constantly more and more on offer and an endless amount of new things, that most of us are curious in trying.
But the problems with this is, it channels our focus on what we don’t have and what we may view as being potentially better, despite the fact that we may have good lives with so much to be grateful for. This is a form of escapism where we allow ourselves to seek distractions from our current realities.
Although it is acceptable to occasionally allow ourselves the time to wonder away and be captured by different prospects, it is important to not get too engrossed in this escapism, as it will make us ungrateful and draw us away from everything that we are lucky to have.
If however, you are not happy in your live, seek alternatives and ACTION towards bringing the change on that you desire. Don’t spend your life THINKING about what you don’t have while comparing yourself to people around you whom you presume to be better off.
Our brains are driven by clarity. If something comes along that is new and we have never tried, it may sound completely different and exciting, compared to our usual lives. We are then instinctively captured in our minds by thinking about the benefits of these new prospects; while forgetting everything we have, love and all that we have worked so hard for.
In order for any change to come about, we must first think about what we have and are grateful for. This puts us in a mentally strong place, which is paramount for any change to come along. This gives us the grounding for the confidence needed, to be the best versions of ourselves.
Then by being the best versions of ourselves there is a new found powerful belief system that is installed, which enables us to commit wholeheartedly to our daily activities while living more fulfilled lives.
After my car accident I was so upset and torn up about what happened to me, I wasn’t thinking about what I still had and the fact that I had made a full recovery. When I did, my life started to change for the better and I’m continuously grateful and growing everyday!
*** Be grateful for what you have and if you want to change, be grateful for what you have, aside from what you want to change, and build from there. ***
