“ I should’ve shown you, some risk are worth it” Lets just say picking this one up, is worth it! This is the second book I’ve read from Adam Silvera, with the first being More Happy,Than Not. (which, destroyed me.) And after reading this one, Silvera has shown me again, that he really knows how to pull me in with his characters and then drop kick me in the feels with them. They Both Die in the End, follows Mateo Torres and Rufus Emeterio and Death-Cast did call them. Sometime in the next 24 hours they will meet an untimely death. So, they set out for one last adventure. The title alone “prepares you” for the end, but it doesn’t stop the journey in getting there. Adam has this ability to show you a happiness in the darkness of places or time and it always leaves bitter sweet aftertaste for me. He blends a great balance of depth and humor. There so much truth and realness to his stories, which I love when reading contemporaries.
