In the past 24 hours, Hamas fired rockets at major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Rishon LeZion, Herzliya, and Jerusalem, Israel’s capital. Their attacks reached as far as Hadera, which is 100 km (62 mi) away from Gaza.
Gaza terrorists have fired more than 100 rockets at Israel during the past three weeks. Israeli civilians living closest to Gaza have only 15 seconds to find shelter during an attack.
After eight days of fighting, the IDF has ended Operation Pillar of Defense.

Yesterday, a long-range rocket fired from the Gaza Strip directly hit a residential building in Israel's fourth-largest city, Rishon LeZion. After the air raid siren sounded, the residents of the apartment entered the reinforced security room - required in all new buildings by Israeli law - and thus were saved. This video shows the severe damage caused to the building.
