I told them that the box wasn't going to stay on the kitchen table. I have since been informed that I was mistaken and that the box will be staying where it is for the foreseeable future. I apologize for the lack of updates on Max. The last couple of weeks have been one thing after another. The good news though is that Max doesn't have cancer as I had feared! The less good news is that he's still dealing with some pretty serious health issues that we're hoping with medication and diet changes will resolve. So for the moment it's just a waiting game. He has a follow up appointment next week so hopefully I'll know more then. I want to say how truly humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude I am with everyone who helped cover Max's vet bills. I do not have the words to express *gestures at everything* From the moment I found him in the alley as a tiny angry kitten he's been my heart and I definitely wouldn't have come through 2020 whole without him. Thanks to y'all I was able to give Max a fighting chance at recovery and not have to panic about paying off a mountain of debt while I'm dealing with my own health issues.
