Napoleon Bonaparte (15 August 1769 - 5 May 1821), was the first emperor of France & considered to be one of the history’s greatest military leaders. His actions shaped European politics in the early 19th century. Napoleon Bonaparte rose to prominence during the French Revolution (1787–99) and served as emperor of France from (1804-1814). He is well known for his key role in the Napoleonic Wars (1803-15) and his defeat at the Waterloo Battle on 18th June 1815.
