One time Elita teasingly slapped Optimus's cheek (not hard calm down) and that was the moment when he realized he was into that.

Elita: The hell's wrong with you?

Optimus: *bent over a bit* I'm comprised.

Elita: ?????.... Oh, you're kidding -

Optimus: You smacked me. I've never been smacked before, 'Lita

Elita: Come over

Optimus: I can't. Megatron is threatening humanity

Elita: He's coming too

Optimus:

First sketch of what would be my favorite of my drawings. Putting that lil upward tip on Elita's nose was a last millisecond choice, but something even that little ended up adding a whole new element of character that I've implemented in all my later stuff.

I make rings for all sentient beings.
