Optimus answers his morning call from his conjunx while sitting in his office: Goodmorning, love.

Elita, on the other end: I'm leaving you.

Optimus signs a datapad he just finished reading: When?

Elita: I already have and I can't get you to do the paperwork. I've been living with Chromia and 'Hide for the past week.

Optimus pulls over the next datapad: Hm. I wonder who I was showering with then...

Elita: I don't know. But I took our kid.

Optimus sits back in his seat and looks at the collection of holoprojections on the opposite wall's shelving: Oh, that's quite extreme. If only we had a child to begin with.

Elita: Yeah. I'm carrying.

Optimus: How far along are you?

Elita: I don't know yet, I haven't finished reading.

And older drawing of Ariel. I needed something to look at while was writing Her and this still suffices.

The arched nose is probably the most important thing about her overall facial structure and is my favorite to draw. I try my best to maintain kinda-sorta the same face between Ariel and Elita, 'cause, ya know, they're the same person and I want there to at least be SOMETHING about her physical being that was maintained.

First sketch of what would be my favorite of my drawings. Putting that lil upward tip on Elita's nose was a last millisecond choice, but something even that little ended up adding a whole new element of character that I've implemented in all my later stuff.

Slapped some colors on an old sketch of Ariel and a little itty bitty baby Bumblebee.

And for clarification, Bee isn't Ariel's kiddo here. But in other news, just drawing a baby has done me in.

Thank you for the follows, everybody!! I really appreciate it and hope to get this tumblr cranking.

Obviously I'm home *a lot* now compared to my usually 50 hour weeks working on this degree and the whatnot of being a commuting college kiddo. But as it goes with being someone who has reoccuring bouts if depression, being home so much and thrown outta my schedule ain't quite a good scenario. Even for an introvert.

Not gonna lie, I was getting pretty low over the past few weeks and could feel a crash closing in. So thank goodness I gained an outlet in my new tablet and this digital software to reach out for.

It is surprisingly relaxing.

That all said, I really appreciate the follows and thank ya for being on this ride with me while I do what I love.

(This is my first big piece after getting a tablet and teaching myself digital coloring for the past few days. Wanted to include that lest one zooms in TOO CLOSE)

Yours truly. I lined over a photo and manipulated some features. Cross hatching will forever and always be my favorite shading style.

First digital line art!

Believe it or not, I used to be an apprentice graphic artist (and then I realized I hated it). I worked at a small print shop from the age of 13 and learned the Adobe suites hands on. But of course that was with business clientele and most of the work was, for lack of better terms to express my exact feelings, boring as fuck. Hated it. But I learned a ton and thankfully, that muscle memory is kicking in. I'm bearing with myself to be patient as I learn the Modern Day's software.

So heres to trying new things (again).
