回 Which muse was the worst to play? Why?

so i actually have two answers to this; the first one was one of my first muses way back in like... 2012... i wanna say. anyway, he was just... the most boring person in the world. i used to suck at writing males and even now i’m still not great at it which is why i have like 50 female muses to one male. basically, he was supposed to be like... captain of the football team but also socially awkward and he got flustered all the time and his personality was duller than a butter knife so....

the second one wasn’t actually a bad muse in the same way the first was; when i planned him, i had all these ideas about how he would be. he was really grumpy and he was an antisocial pessimist who hated the people around him. then as soon as he hit the group i was in, i had like five people asking me for ships, including one person who basically forced me into having my muse being incredibly in love with their muse; despite the fact that he had better chemistry with that character’s best friend and that he was a grumpy loner. i was also kinda bummed because he was bisexual and he pretty much got forced into an f/m ship right away where his sexuality was sort of ignored (sidenote: but i am bi and understand that bi ppl can date the opposite sex, i just already had like two other straight male characters and was looking forward to bringing in more m/m ships)

☽ Do you like writing angst? Why or why not?

i love writing angst. like tbh my biggest thing is that i’m always awful to all of my characters & if you write with me for long enough i’ll probably start throwing angsty headcanons at you all the time. i just find that it’s a style that i write well (i wrote like 4k words the other day just for funsies & my two friends who read it can attest that i’m good w the angst). i mainly like angst bc i feel like it gives your characters a chance to grow a lot and for you as a writer to really get a feel for their personality - like... you find out what their fears are, maybe things that you never thought about.

Usually I just??? Like I really try to think positively. I go down the line of all the things I’m thankful for and all the positive things in my life until I’m content. Then I think of the things/people that make me happiest & then I try to think optimistically about the future and try to think of the things I can do in my life now to further how I want my future to go & basically remind myself that things all have their place & good or bad it’s all for a reason u kno?

i suffer from high key trauma induced anxiety and panic disorder. sometimes i literally feel like the world is crushing me. it makes it a little hard for the people around me because to them the fear of “whatever” isn’t that big of a deal and they don’t get why i’m stressing over it. but for me its a very real very relevant fear.

like, when i grocery shop, no matter how much money i have or how little groceries i am always terrified i’m not gonna have enough so i have a little bit of a freak out in line. its hard for me but i’m trying to get past it and learn healthy ways to deal with it.

@liftedsail. “ jesus, ” a cigarette hangs limp between the sigh that pushes through lazy lips as ringed fingers finally loosen their grip around the diameter of a ballpoint pen. there’s an incredulous roll of hazel hues that precedes the sound of plastic striking glass as frances glares down at the scrappy envelope inked with lengthy addition and subtraction problems that he’s been working nonstop for the past thirty or so minutes to calculate and recalculate their financial situation. “ you gotta give it to us for making it this far, baby, i mean ... ” head shakes half-heartedly before the boy supplies lungs with a drag of nicotine and shortly takes the fag from petals in between two fingers to chuckle out a puff of smoke. “ but this time i think we’re ––– really fucked. ”
