It's time to continue the Boreale System Crusade !!!! (an project do with other friends on Deviantart and Discord...somewhere in the archive you can find the old post) Boreale Star System----Segmentum Pacificus---- 799.M41 +++ When the system was aligned with the Imperium, the Merchant Lords used also other type of tanks than the commonly saw Leman Russ and Chimera. Some Pre-Imperium design were allowed to being build by the Adeptus mechanicus on the Forge World of Miyir. One of these is the Behemoth, a large land cruiser with the purpose to hold the lines during the orkish invasions. With the abudance of turrets, cannons and materials, due the voidships' production reduction, Ctesiphont assembles more Behemoths for the war. The tank is more armed than a Leman Russ or Malcador, but, obviously less sturdy, smaller and less menacing than the famous Baneblade. Its multi-purpose role makes the tank ideal for heavy support and to move the defensive stance into a counterattack. The big space in the bulk allows big engines, so surprisingly, the Behemoth is faster than the leman Russ during the cruise speed.
