The Light Emperor from Final Fantasy II's "Souls of Rebirth" campaign is usually portrayed with his eyes constantly closed.
This seems to be inspired by a particular piece of artwork by Amano which became the basis for the Wonderswan/PS1/GBA versions of the FF2 logo, a theory backed by how the PSP's portrait for the Light Emperor closely matches the image.

I really want to do a series of the major arcana at some point! I keep hopping back and forth between themes and fighting to figure out how to do the cards right...I know for sure I want to make a set for pure oc stuff, Gravity Falls oc-verse stuff, and then Orion's deck.
I really only have some sketches for the oc deck and vague ideas of what would fit each card, though...
And then a Shephard card I sketched out months ago
