Working with Light Modifier - Reflector
These photos were taken with and without the use of a light modifier, you can clearly see the first one was taken without a reflector and the shadows are more prominent on the subjects face, whereas the second picture as that gold reflected onto the side of the face, it captures that light and bounces it back onto the subject.
Im not to sure what one I prefer as I really like the shadows created however the golden effect gives the image a really nice colour.
This one was used with the same golden reflector however I managed to still capture the shadows falling onto the subject created by the trees and the leaves in the shade.
This photo was taken without the reflector, however I used the washing hung up on the line to modify the light, it had stopped the light from getting through to the subjects face, allowing only a bit of light to shine on his face and create two shadows on either side.

Light Modifier Attachments
These are the Light modifiers we learned of in studio. In each of the photos there is the name of each of them shown. We used a couple of these when taking pictures and learning to use the lighting unit. I think it will be interesting using them more in future and finding out what effects they have in each photograph.
NormsStudio.Equipment Reflectors and Diffusers allow the photographer to manipulate and control natural or studio lighting. View our light modifiers for reflect, cut and diffuse. We are master in all 3 forms of light control. For more detail visit our website http://bit.ly/2B3YA3q.
