Progress on my Light Theremin

I have gone out to get all of the materials necessary to make my mini theremin. I am not using the directions that I posted from Make Magazine. I found something that I think will work much better. The problem I have is I do not have the right capacitors. I need two 1.0uf disk capacitors and could not find any at my local Radio Shack. So I bought a mix bag of capacitors in hopes that I would find some that I needed. Obviously, they were not in there. I will be looking at a few others stores this week and will post pictures of my progress as I work on it. My hopes are that I can build at least 4 successful ones in order to create a sound and light show that no one has seen from a small performer. Think... lazer light show.

Oh and I forgot to get wires, which are always necessary.
