how are you feeling? it's a simple question. it's an innocent question. but the seatwerp is staring at her with those blue, knowing eyes, like he can see through the bullshit that she wears everyday so that people don't see just how lost, lonely, and desperate she really is. the stupid, knowing, seatwerp. she hates him. she can't stand him. he might be the only friend she has. “ —shut up, jackson. ” stop seeing me, jackson.

“ i don't know how they do things in your soft mortal school, but here at camp, we don't talk about our feelings. ” no one cares enough to ask her about hers, anyway. and that was just fine for her. she made it that way. it's safer that way. but of course the seatwerp is trying to climb the wall she built around herself. she's just gonna have to break his kneecaps, if he keeps trying.

WELL  ,  THAT  WASN’T  expected  .  phoebe  considers  herself  stunned  for  a  moment  ---  finding  it  a  little  hard  to  process  the  redhead’s  words  .  after  all  that  she  had  been  through  ,  she  had  decided  that  the  one  thing  that  would  always  be  her  constant  was  never  being  good  enough  .  despite  being  a  nephilim  ,  a  witch  at  that  ,  she  still  felt  like  a  FAILURE  .  if  only  she  could  be  stronger  ,  the  one  who  had  the  ability  to  carry  the  weight  of  the  world  on  her  shoulders  so  that  it  could  be  saved  .  but  that  was  just  a  dream  ,  and  her  mother  had  ensured  her  a  lifetime  worth  of  emotional  trauma  .
