~+= I do hope you enjoy this @an-unlikely-duo, even though it’s a little rushed.
DO NOT REBLOG IF YOU’RE NOT TAGGED =+~
Night had settled in to the close-to starless sky, the time being a rather late 11:30pm, so many were already in bed but of course there were some going to clubs, both for parties and sexual needs, as per how the city life had always been. The late night also housed more underground activity, knife crimes, gun crimes, vandalism and many other things that people can do under the cover of darkness.
Veronica was definitely a criminal in her own right, using the cover of darkness to paint Graffiti onto the walls of more derelict buildings, mostly because people didn’t seem to bat so much as an eye towards them.
She stepped back up with a few steps to examine her gruesome artwork, an image of a lady with hair quite like her own looking up to the sky, bloody tears in her eyes while an outstretched had protruded from her mouth, reaching upwards as if to grab something just out of reach. Disturbing indeed. The girl moved back over to the pavement where her big black backpack lay, collecting up all the spray cans that lay around where she had temporarily placed them, stuffing them into the bag. Her ears were picking up on a sound, but a quick search around the area brought up nothing for the origin of the tapping sound- it was distant, which gave her plenty of time to gather up everything and leave the scene before anyone could catch her out for her crime.
Just as she was about to leave, there was a missing detail within her image, something she knew that had to be added onto painting to make it come to life even more so than it was already, she placed the bag back down onto the ground and took out the red and white spray paints. With careful steady hands, began to add some blood to the mouth, pooling it around the wrist and down the corners of the mouth, trailing it down the jawline and neck. The white was to add reflection towards the red, making it pop out.
Finally, the artwork was complete.
By now the girl had paint splatters all over her black sweatpants and hoodie, all colours she had used for the graphic image. Once again, she packed up her stuff and backed off from the image, ready to get herself away from the scene.
