the term “fnf kid” normally means “person who is into fnf (which is cringe and means they are a young child unworthy of respect)” when really it should refer to “person who got into something targeted towards an older audience and doesn’t have the ability yet to safely participate in online circles centered around it”
better yet. just don’t assign derogatory terms towards people enjoying a thing they like. even if they’re too young for it. obviously young kids should not be interacting with fnf and it’s important to make sure they’re engaging with media in a safe and informed way but calling people “fnf kids” because you think a game for adults and older teens is cringe kiddie stuff just makes you look stupid, no offense.
it feels like fnf has been synonymous with little kids and “cringe” and “slop” for such a long time now, even now that the community has quieted down, and it’s really annoying to know people still don’t respect you because you’re in a certain fandom like this one and they think that means you’re immature.
