LIGHT AND SOUND INSTALLATION BY NOHISTA & COLLECTIF COIN
Cyclique was an aerial light and sound installation created by audiovisual artist Nohista and Collectif Coin for Nuit Blanche 2013. The array of 256 large white balloons was embedded with LEDs that blinked in sequence with various audio tracks and was further enhanced by the impact of wind which altered the layout and motion of the piece.

CRYSTAL by Studio Roosegaarde
CRYSTAL by Studio Roosegaarde are hundreds of crystals of light which brighten when you touch them. People can play and share their stories of light.
Each Crystal contains LEDs that are wirelessly charged via a magnetic floor. Once visitors start adding, moving or sharing Crystals, the basic breathing of the Crystals changes. The lighting behavior of crystals moves from ‘excited’ to ‘bored’, keeping visitors curious.

'Time Tilings', the video projection intervention by spanish visual artist Pablo Valbuena re-appropriates architectural surfaces with CGI mapping onto existing patterns in space. developed for the artefact festival in belgium, each of the four site-specific projections add a new dimension of time with kinetic geometry made from light. The installation acts as a direct response to the perceptual qualities, physical conditions and surrounding influences of a certain location.

PYRADICAL LUMINESCENCE
The main inspiration for the creative came from the DMT-Delicious moments in the super-favorite film.Munko has been on a tunnel infinite-void kick for some years now and wanted to build a practical, LED installation driven by graphic sequencing, utilizing the techniques learned from the FOTB Titles and applying them into a more densely packed setup called the PYRADICAL... Once the Pyrad was constructed, the aim was to capture the visuals with both high-resolution Film and Still cameras, which would generate a vast library of content to pull from to produce the artwork for the Conference Package..
He tapped super-friend and lighting genius Michael Fullman to help him execute the concept, which was to construct a triangular volume out of three LED panels, flanked on either end by a trio of Light Tubes that would complete the design. Once Munk and and Michael had the concept and build nailed down, he tapped frequent collaborators Kevin Gosselin and John Nguyento capture the installation on the Arri Alexa and Nikon D800.

Voice Tunnel by Rafael Lozano-Hemmer
Open to pedestrians for the first time in history, the Park Avenue Tunnel welcomes visitors to experience an interactive light and sound installation like no other. Mexican-Canadian artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer has transformed the 1,400 foot long tunnel with 300 theatrical spotlights that create shimmering archways along the tunnel's walls and ceilings. It is called Voice Tunnel. At the tunnel's center, participants speak into a special intercom that records their voices and then loops them. The louder, both in pitch and volume, the participants' voices are, the more intense the light beams become. On 150 loudspeakers that are spread throughout the tunnel, trailing voices of the past 90 participants can be heard by the pedestrians who are walking through.
