yaoshi has not set foot in this place in many amber eras. not since allegiance was sworn to the reignbow arbiter & abundance's blessing cast aside. they don't blame the xianzhou , of course , it's not in their power to hold such contempt . certainly not after seeing the horrors their blessings have caused.

never in all their years did the abundance believe something so awful could've been the price for their gifts , & yaoshi isn't sure how long they wish to linger here. being in enemy territory didn't bode well for someone with no way to fight back. & for the most part , no one suspects them. people are ... friendly to them , & it delights yaoshi to no end , content to mingle as long as they can.

at least , that had been the plan.

the abundance hadn't expected to encounter the luofu's general of all people , & there's a slight panic within them. he can't truly hurt them , but should yaoshi be spotted ...

they've gained no shortage of enemies .

abundance speaks carefully in the presence of @lightngborn , gentle gaze fixing on their hands , which stay clasped in front of them. how to navigate such an encounter as to not seem suspicious when deception isn't truly their strong suit ??

Yanqing gasped as he was suddenly picked up, he looked at his mentor before speaking.

"Whoa! General, is there a problem?"

         it was the first time that they were sitting together like this in a long time, and the first time that he was doing it as dan heng. the sight was not quite the one in the xianzhou alliance ships, but it was beautiful in is own way  —  perhaps, even better. the weight that had always been on his chest for as long as he had taken this form for seemed to finally dissipate bit by bit, even though there were still many things that concerned him.

           after a moment of gazing at the stars outside the train, dan heng finally turned his gaze to the man sitting next to him, the one that now filled his memory and heart with memories.  “ how are you feeling? ”

          having been by general jing yuan’s side since he was young, yanqing had grown to know quite a lot of his habits and places that he would go whenever he wanted to escape, such as this one. of course it was not a knowledge he used all too often, except for when it was actually needed. this time, however, there wasn’t such a pressing matter that required for him to return to headquarters right away, so the apprentice did not mind taking a moment to sit by him and reach out with his hand for a cup.  “ are you evading work, general? ”  he asked, tone somewhat casual.  “ is there something troubling you? ”

The General lets out a yawn, his eyes barely able to stay open against the bright and warm sun. He knew he should be getting back to the Seat of Divine Foresight by now, but it was just too gorgeous of a day to waste inside. Honestly he was surprised no one had come looking for him by now. Hopefully it would be some time before he was called upon. He'd been just about to doze off again when the sound of footsteps alerted him, causing him to glance in the direction of the sound. Though upon seeing who it was, he relaxed.

"Ah, it's just you." He said, smiling softly as he looked upon her. "What brings you all the way out here on this fine day?"

There had been moments when she had gone off on her own. Mostly to explore the area to see all the beauty this place held. She had already been shown the proper attire by Bailu--she secretly thought it was Bailu's way of having a living dress up doll. Still, she had let the little High Elder because she loved her. The soft innocence, even coloration was peaceful, and she was great fun. Even when she was going to go in debt to feed her.

She was not going to tell him she was just following butterflies since she had no official work. She looked around and hummed smiling at him opened her mouth and it was precisely what she said. "I was following butterflies, they know where the prettiest places are." she said with a dip of her head that gave a tinkling sound with the hair piece that had been chosen.

"How are you though, Are you recovering ?" she asked as she took a seat a polite distance since he was resting. The soft rustling of the outfit and light chime of accessories following. "You were supposed to be resting but you showed up to be the Calvary…" her concern was clear in her voice as she motioned lightly with a hand." I know that it is sometimes hard to focus on rest, I can not stand being idle myself."

"Mr... Jing Yuan, sir? umm .... are you really okay? - like - really, really, okay? -" genuine concern reflected in her gaze. If he was putting up a tough front and then DIED - ... that would be the worst ... and March would definitely feel guilty about it. sooo best to triple check.

He had followed the trailblazer for a vacation and somehow ended up here. Another stelleron that they had to take care of but at least this time the trailblazer had a good group to go onto this mission. Luka was ordered to stay in a hotel for a while since the Luofu was on lock down.

How the general of the Cloud knights was not entertaining him in a game of ... What was this game called again? Chess? Shouldn't he be looking after this ships defenses? He wondered what was going on in that mind of his making the trailblazer search for a wanted criminal. The redhead also worried if they were going to be alright. Wasn't both Blade and Kafka formidable?

Luka's actually referring to the game in front of them. Each piece had a role but loosing a piece was always costly. Luka was always used to just doing things and thinking about himself and how to protect in a fight. Defending people and it's citizens were something he already did successfully without hesitation.

         it was true that dan heng didn’t remember the life he had before, the one he had shared with jing yuan and others in this place  —  at least on the surface. such memories were still burried somewhere deep inside him, the same way his powers were, as if waiting for the right moment to awaken. this, however, was not yet such a moment, even if there was a hint of familiarity whenever the guard looked at the man in front of him. 

         although this sounded like a vague conversation, it was like each word spoken by the two of them carried a weight much heavier than it should.  “ even if it means putting yourself at risk? ”  whether dan heng was speaking solely about jing yuan at that moment or himself too, it was hard to tell.
