Running up a Lightning F6 from the Lightning Preservation Group at Bruntingthorpe Airfield
XR728 & XS904 by David ilott Via Flickr: Lightning Preservation Group F6s XR728/JS and XS904/BQ at Bruntingthorpe in July 1997.
Lightning F.6 from RAF 11 Sqn climbing out of Malta International - 13 July 1978
Electric Lightning F.6 from RAF 11 Sqn taxis into Binbrook Airfield - September 1977
Lightnings from RAF 11 Sqn at Luqa, Malta during an armament practice camp - 16 Oct 1976
This poor Lightning for instance is in an advanced stage of deterioration (and also an empty shell, it doesn't have any engines in it anymore), but still is a gorgeous bird.
