I liek the idea of lightning being a good person before the whole attk on the cyberse. They wouldnt trust or follow him for no reason. So here he is witha kid Ai.

I based this off a picture I saw once. Idk who the artist was. They didnt sign it T^T. I changed it a bit to be diff but the idea was Lightning was showing Ai sparkle.
