Digital painting progress (I’m really proud of the result 🥰) Digital still life I did to practice with colour. The challenge was to not colour pick from the reference, but still try to make the painting rich in colour. Although I’m not a big fan of photorealistic paintings (I prefer expressing myself in my artworks instead of just copying a photograph), I’m happy I finally finished this artwork after not touching it for one year. What do you think about photorealistic art?

Best for last, my favorite of the new pieces, this handmade Lichtenerg burned wooden sword, filled with glow in the dark resin to create a lightning pattern down both sides of the blade. The hilt has been woodburned with knotwork wrapping around it.
