Ufffh.This is completely unedited (Only resized) and that’s what night time looks like in my game on a cloudy night, the second picture is with northern lights. Can’t see much? Yeah, me neither. I’m not liking how the northern lights look with Nilxis clouds, so I’m afraid they have to go. I love the new lightning mod during other times of the day, but I really, REALLY, don’t like how dark it is at night. The blue-ish hueues vanilla game has or some other lightning mods produce have never bothered me really as I like doing stuff at night.

I opened the lightning mod file and tried looking at the code as I have been able to make small edits on my own in the past, but this is a little bit more tricky than I thought it would be. I spent few hours googling different topics about this, but Jesus Christ this is too much for my brain. I’m guessing changing the night time colour gradients have impact on other times of the day, which might bork things up if I’m not careful? Or it turns into a wild neverending rave party and I end up wishing I had touched nothing at all?
