I wore a hole in the soles of my boots today walking over 15 miles through the jersey shore. Through the years I've put a lot of miles on with just a few songs and my guitar. I think there's a metaphor in my boots wearing out. It's time to accept the repair and reset with a fresh soul. There's still miles to go.
