I agree so much. A little angst is okay, bittersweet is lovely sometimes, but life is too shitty to have too many sad times in my fanfic!
Yeah exactly! There’s a difference between angst that you know will resolve well and angst that just rips out your soul and never gives it back. There’s definitely a place in fandom for both of them (it’s cathartic for some people to experience those emotions in a fictional setting) but i don’t dig the second kind and probably never will.
