Hey, I saw your post about Zevran and Nathaniel Howe not getting you back int HoDA, and I don't know what HoDA means. Also, what's the tag about "HoDA for ts"? I've seen that a lot, the "X for ts" and don't khow what it means.

HoDA stands for "Heroes of Dragon Age," an iphone/android game for smartphones. I used to be super-invested in it, but there was a huge issue back in February where the "prize" was Slave Fenris - a Fenris who had been whitewashed and also in a rather revealing outfit. It came off as being racist for the whitewashing, and fetishizing the sexual abuse that Fenris went through in his past. HoDA is designed without the DA creative team's input, and it's been one of the few times that I've seen a majority of my followers actually on the same page with David Gaider (who wrote Fenris, and was mortified by what they did).

They also whitewashed Isabela at the very beginning, and I don't remember what Zevran looked like (he was being introduced right after I left, and I don't remember the pictures), so I can't say if they did that to him or not.

"____ for ts" is a way for people to give a term for people to block with Tumblr Savior. A great example of this is Game of Thrones or Supernatural: Game of Thrones abbreviates to "got," and for a lot of people suddenly posts with the WORD "got" started getting saviored. Doing "GoT for ts" in the tags means that the post will get blocked instead of posts that simply have the word "got" in them.

Same thing with Supernatural. What if someone isn't a fan of the show, but like supernatural things? I know I've had this problem when I have times where I put SPN on tumblr savior - it doesn't mean I want to stop seeing post about supernatural things - it means I don't necessarily want my dash full of the show with the same name. So if someone were to say "supernatural for ts," I can put that in Tumblr Savior and not see that, while I can still see general supernatural things.

Another big one is "food for ts," for the benefit of people recovering from Eating Disorders, if they're trying to avoid pictures of food or lots of talk about it. I've actually had to have days where I throw "food for ts" on my tumblr savior blacklist, because I was getting terrible food dysphoria with having to deal with issues related to my diabetes.

So yeah, "_____ for ts" is a handy way to put stuff on a blacklist that has really common names.
