So today's visit didn't go as planned. But it was so much better. Most of you know that getting into Disney was a six year journey for me, starting in 2010 by being rejected from Innoventions host to at least one rejection per year until September 2016 when I finally got a face to face interview and heard, "Welcome to the Walt Disney Company" (or something along those lines. Let's be real, I was in shock). The last year and a half has been filled with ups and downs, good and bad guests, and two different times of finding myself on transitional duty for injuries on the job. Last year's transitional was a time filled with pain and little support. This time around, while still in pain, the amount of love and support I've received from my fellow Tomorrowland Cast Members and from my leadership teams has been overwhelming. Visiting everyone today was so great. You all light up my shifts, my days, and my life. Tomorrowland is home, and y'all are family. I freaking love you guys. Never leave me, okay? ❤❤🚗🚀 #tomorrowland #autopia #startours #seeyouontheroad #lightspeedtoendor #waitwrongToursoops (at Tomorrowland)
