Neal fell through the portal. He laid upon the ground, sputtering with the impact. “Woah, that was unexpected,” he mumbled, blinking. “Uh, hi...” He smiled at the guards surrounding him. They pulled him to his feet and hauled the man through a camp. The smile fell.

They tossed him at the feet of a blond woman. “He fell from the sky. He might be one of Regina’s spies,” the guard proclaimed. “What do you want us to do with him, Princess?” 

Princess? Spy? What had he fallen into? Why did he have a feeling that this talk had something to do with his father? “I’m not a spy, although being 007 sounds pretty cool,” he joked.

“I’ve little doubt you can, but that doesn’t always mean you have to.” She helped Emma sit, fluffing pillows, before settling back down. “If it did, I likely would have stayed in my small port. Fortunately for you, you’re not at the level of ill where you can’t eat your soup for yourself. Come now, give it a try. The herbs here aren’t quite what I’m used to but there’s chicken and vegetables and it doesn’t taste all bad.”

And so the story ends....

Things were good for the most part. Chandler was older and much wiser now with the wild streak fulfilled. She graduated in the spring with her undergraduate for journalism and took a job with some big name magazine wanting travel stories. Chandler was finally in the place she needed to be- home. With a sigh the brunette proper her fresh painted feet up on the porch railing of her family home. Early fall winds swept through the open space and ruffled her hair, you could almost taste the salty water from the harbor. The street was busy as usual. Ruby and Granny scurried down with a wave, Neal honked as he drove by, even Mr. Gold gave a slight nod and faint “Dearie,” as he passed through. 

Four years ago Chandler was itching to get out of this. She wanted to run and be free, to leave the storybook behind. It had never been for her at the time because she had never been in it. She was not born in the Enchanted Forest but instead she was born in to a place just a magical. She was always on an adventure and being the hero in her own story. 

Her greatest story was about to start off. The Pirate Princess who was born and raised in the small quite town of Storybrooke, Maine has grown. No longer does she run and play when responsibility comes to the door. The Queen has truly arrived, one willing to fight for what is right, to lead others in the correct path, and to only use her magic for good. She had shed her baby face and grown in to a powerful gaze with strong features only a pirate would be proud of. 

Chandler made her way inside the house and settled in to the seat closest to the window. Emma and Killian sat with the new dog they got while she was at college. He wouldn’t admit it but everyone knew Killian was heartbroken over Chandler going all the way to Seattle for school instead of New York like her brothers. She gained so much from the both of them, it would take a lifetime to repay it. Instead she conjured a hot cup of tea and settled down in her chair. 

“Thank you,” She smiled over the steamy cup as her eyes met with her mothers. “Thank you for everything.”

And that.. is the end of Chandler’s Adventure.

ever since she came to town with her younger brother and sister, harriet had done her best to get them settled in, effectively ignoring her father and his new bride, who looked like she could be c.j.’s mom. (harriet didn’t want to intrude.) if she wasn’t with her siblings, she was either in granny’s having lunch and complimenting ruby or in the library, going through the books, trying to find some way to contact her friends. and if she wasn’t in the library or at granny’s, she was sitting at the docks, staring out at the water. which was exactly what she was doing right now.

He remembered the dragon’s fire, the warmth that burned his skin. A memory so long lost that it was strange to be so close to it now. But the fire burned again. It burned in his lungs with every breath he took and though his body was surrounded by water there was nothing the young prince could do to extinguish it. He was close to giving up, to realising that it all had been a mistake. But there was no going back any longer. He had given up his home, his charms, his legs, only to be with her. He needed to find her. In any other situation the prince of Dale would have been mesmerised by his surroundings. This new world, under water, was beautiful in its own way for light had a different meaning down here. Colours surrounded him, drifted away in the current, played with life... He passed coral reefs as red as blood, bouncing with small and big fish, glinting in all the colours of the rainbow. It was such a huge contrast to the green and brown that controlled his home. He liked it, but he had no time to enjoy it. It took Mattis what felt like eternity until he found the underwater castle of the mermaid king. If his voice had been still within his reach the young man would not have been able to stop himself from rambling about the beauty before his eyes. It was like a fairytale had appeared before him and he did not believe it. Unsure about the right way to find the mermaid he was searching for the young prince began to explore this new found heaven on the ocean’s floor. His mind raced with all the things he would say to her. If he could only speak! Oh, what a cruel spell it had been, yet the only way to be close to her. And when he finally laid eyes on her again it seemed worth it within an instant. Mattis knew how lucky he was to find this merwoman in a kingdom as big as this, yet the hardest part was only just beginning. What to do? How to approach her?  There was nothing the prince could do except for stopping in his track and starring at her for one heartbeat after another, a shy smile appearing upon his lips. If he could only call out to her! Explain that he was looking for her!

Emma wrapped her arms around her husband as he made breakfast. Her belly pressed into his back as she knew, but she also knew he loved it. She reached back with one arm and pulled out a little gift for him, a fabric with which he could carry the baby on his chest if he wanted to - and a matching outfit for him and the baby. "Happy fathers day."

Killian didn’t even hear Emma come in, being focused on making breakfast for her and intending to bring it up to their bedroom for her. But it seemed she crossed his plans, wrapping her arms around him and leaning into him with her baby bump. The pirate smiled, even more so when she handed him the gift, and he turned around to peck her lips. “Thank you, love. But I’m technically not a father just yet.”
