I have no doubt they inspired them with their stories, their dreams, their ambition, and their journeys. They’re so different and yet they came from the same place. It’s important that the students got to meet these three graduates who could share how their paths began in the same place. And how lovely that the grads took the time to accept the recognition and spend the day “back home.” I’m glad I was able to meet them all and sit in for the after school reception. It was lovely to hear the introductions for the two of the three (should have left work a bit earlier) and then listen in on conversations here and there. I have to admit, Colby just hooked me and I found his whole vibe to be joyful and genuine. His former teacher said it best— he’s the one you want to be friends with when he walks into the room.
