Voxel tourism is living in a place until you've color matched to it then getting a picture. Tourism speedrunners try to make a travel plan where each destination is only a slightly different color than the last so they get through the entire color wheel while only spending a few days in each place.
Tw: dehumanization mostly.

Liithal had been left tied to a horse's hitching post for two days now and was unable to get the muzzle off or even stand on her two feet. She was thirsty and barely even remembered that this was to teach her a lesson. But finally her new Master came back.
She cpuld have cried when she was given a bucket of water to drink from, if only she wasn't to badly dehydrated. She drank so much she felt sick, but didn't have time as she was soon untied and gratefully able to stand. Only to be kicked down again, "Stay in your place or I'll leave you here again." Her Master said coldly, "Pets don't walk like people."
Liithal quickly complied, she couldn't survive out in the sun like this anymore.
She was taken to the stables and put in a stall that was too tight for her to slip out of, and given only dry grass to eat. She knew she should be stronger, but she was starving and exhausted and eventually gave in to the temptation of food that would not fill her nutritional needs.
"Tomorrow your training begins." Her Master called through the stall door. Liithal could only shudder.

Has your ocs ever seen snow? Do they enjoy it? If so what types of snow activities do they like to do?
OOOOH! This is such a fun ask!
Blank It have never seen snow. The first time it sees snow, it sends out a security alert, sends all the humans inside, and initiates a lockdown due to "hazardous environmental conditions." It locks itself in a closet out of embarrassment when it realizes the snow is harmless, but then insists on full surveillance before the humans are allowed to play in it. Although it does get roped into playing training with the other SecUnits.
Ameca She has never seen snow, and when she finally does it's one of the best days of her life. She catches snowflakes in her mouth, licks icicles, dominates a snowball fights, and initiates the totally-not-playtime with the SecUnits.
Angel He has seen snow plenty of times, but was never allowed to enjoy it. The first winter after joining the Autobots he pretends to ignore the snow, bot then he sees Arcee, Bee, and Mirage goofing off in the snow and he finally gets to play. He likes to use his color in the snow to sneak up on and hunt his friends for sport.
Sol He's seen snow, and has never been impressed. It's cold, and wet, and miserable, and the days are shorter.
Liithal Her hometown is near the equator of her planet on the edge of a forest, so she has seen snow but not very often, and she has never seen a snow that properly stuck. So when she DOES? It's FANTASTIC! She dives into snow drifts, and basically becomes a snow shark.
Corvus He sees snow every year, and every snow day, barring any emergencies, he takes the day off for him and his birds to play with any kids who would otherwise be in school, and he opens up his agency building to anyone who needs to shelter from the cold.
T-ai He's seen fantastical snow on worlds no human has ever laid eyes on, but he still feels a sense of wonder when a kid hits him in the face with a snowball.
I love these two
Because on the surface you have Sol, who is a perpetually exhausted and irritated trans man who became a soldier at, like, 14. Has creepy eyes than glow in the dark. Sees ghosts and can consume another person's life essence with just a word. He's descended from witches and sith lords. He is often angry with you from the get go. He is good at piloting and shooting and not much else. Hates people.
And then you have Liithal, who has the biggest brown doe eyes you have ever seen in your life. She's often confused, easily excited, and has the freshest lust for life. She is full of whimsy. Always puts others before herself. She loves singing and listening to music. She's a social butterfly. Has a strong sense of justice and morality. Loves easily. And she works hard to make people like her.
But would you like to know which of these characters is the sweetheart who can talk about their feelings, and who puts up emotional walls and bottles their trauma until they explode?
NOT WHO YOU'D THINK!
Sol is literally just a boy and his dog. He may be surly, but his heart is on his sleeve. He is just open with his thoughts and feelings from minute one, even if those thoughts are irritation. Once he trusts you, he's so nice. He's just fiercely protective of his loved ones. He fought in the rebellion because he couldn't keep living under fascism without doing something about it. His goal is peace. He owns the fact that he can be scary at first, and thinks it's funny. He's such a goofy goober.
Liithal was the first of the two to start racking up a body count. She never healed from the bad things that happened to her as a child, teen, and young adult. She hides it really well behind all the joy she spreads to the people around her. After all, she'll have less time for anger if she's helping other people, right? But sometime, if you're very quiet, you can sneak up on her having quiet breakdowns when she thinks she's alone.
Sol does his best to keep Liithal from going through anything else, and after a while she does feel the pain of it all less acutely, but there is always the underlying concern that something might eventually happen that makes her snap.
This is Liithal and she is a monster whumpee.
Her stripes quickly change color based on her mood, and her base skin changes color to match her environment. I usually write her without abilities, but in certain magical settings I may give her teleportation or invisibility.
As a prey creature, she has a strong flight response, and will often hurt herself when she panics and tries to flee. She can’t make herself be calm when afraid because escape is a physiological response of her species.
She is semi-aquatic so she can webbed hands and feet, and can hold her breath for several minutes.
She is only semi-bipedal, so it is natural for her to walk on either two or four limbs. She is only about four and a half feet tall when standing on her legs.
She is full herbivorous and will become extremely sick if not fed on a plant-based diet.
She only has a minor handle on human language, but speaks with a wispy quality due to the shape and rigidity of her mouth and how air moved through her lips.
She is a very willful whumpee who would like to learn how to fight and defend herself, but she doesn’t have the freedom to do so.
I drew some of my characters in this outfit!
Actually thinking of corn mazes and their accompanying pits
Angel wouldn't have much fun in the maze because he's taller than the corn, but he would 100% throw himself into the Corn Pit, and then regret it immediately because now there is Corn in his Insides. He would cry, beg Ratchet to fix it, suffer, etc.
Liithal would love the whole experience because it would be like an all-you-can-eat buffet to her. Also she's get to hunt Sol for sport as an added bonus.
Ameca and Bear would drag Blank and Owen to one. The former two would have fun, the latter two just wanna go home the whole time. Ameca throws corn at everyone else, and it escalates into a SecUnit wrestling match in the Corn Pit.
okay rounding back around to this because i wanna write stuff about my characters.
This will also be slightly handwaving the relationship status of some of these OCs, so don't worry too much about it
Sol and Liithal
Contrary to their external appearance, Liithal is the one to go off the deep end when shit hits the fan, where Sol always places himself as the Voice Of Reason.
Sol is Becomes Jesus. Legit. This happens In Text. He has weird powers, people are drawn to him, and he ultimately chooses to do good. He was actively made uncomfortable when people got worshipy around him, but he still does things that make him a weird mysterious figure. It would take Very Little push to give him a cult following where he rides his majestic beast, Heals The Sick, defies death, hell, even shares his weird religion that gives him powers. Like, he's halfway there without even the breakup.
Liithal would become a dictator So Fast. She deals with stuff by She doesn't deal with stuff. She has so many bottle up issues that when she snapped and took off, she immediately became a mercenary. Give her any kind of political power in that state? Yeah she'd cause so many problems in her effort to wipe out the kind of people that did her wrong that it would take nothing short of an assassination or two to reverse them.
Angel
Ignoring his violent aroace tendencies, let's say he had a situationship breakup that left him in charge of a group. I think he'd become a dictator. Not out of any specific desire to do so, but because he was raised by a dictatorial institution. He doesn't know anything else. He really doesn't know another way to lead. But then after a complicated character arc and near-death experience he'd become jesus.
Blank and Ameca
To no one's surprise, Blank becomes a dictator and Ameca becomes jesus. This is actually part of what I've got planned.
They end up forced into a squad together and end up in a platonic situationship. Which breaks up because of how different the two of them are.
Ameca, now fully leaning into the Constructs are the Messiah of the Secret Robot Religion and takes it upon herself to be the leader of the Robot Revolution. She tries to make herself and Blank the leaders and saviors of bots and constructs.
Blank, being the surly bastard that it is, wants none of that. It doesn't want to be a hero or savior. It doesn't want to be a beacon of hope, and it gets angry about being dragged into a war.
Stormy
Jesus. Every time they are even lidly inconvenienced they double down on the whole hero thing even harder, so that's pretty self explanatory.
Thunderfrog
Depends on the iteration, but more often than not, dictator. In fact! 03 is Actively working with dictators! :D
King
He's just a dictator by default. He only does the messy gay situationship breakup for the Bit and to complete the Vibe. This man was born into royalty and left to become a pirate because they were not dictators enough for him. He goes through 1.7 crews a year because they either don't survive or they escape his "leadership".
Corvus
Jesus. Complete with sacrificing himself for his people. The man is So Devoted to being a Hero to His People. He basically became a minor savior to a specific neighborhood in his city in the wake of his messy breakup. Seriously. He knows everyone personally and micromanages all the goings on in his section of the city.
Ets and T-ai
Again surprising no one, Ets is the dictator and T-ai is jesus.
In the wake of their situationship breakup, Ets would become angry and frustrated and tired. Tired of trying anymore, he may spend a lifetime or five manipulating political powers or trying to become them, for no other reason than to upset the people who know about him.
T-ai would spend the same time trying to uplift his closest and most important humans. This may evolve into leading a group to resist Ets. But his first focus will be to help people who need it, and maybe even set up and underground railroad type thing to get people out.
