“Have you seen my green shirt, Sansa?”
Petyr stares into his closet with a furrowed brow, wondering if he missed something. He remembers picking the shirt up from the dry cleaners and hanging it between his red and grey shirts, the same place that it always hangs. Petyr is nothing if not methodical and orderly, even with his clothes.
He hears the voice of his fiancée echo from down the stairs. “The silk one?” She calls up.
“Yes,” he replies, trying not to shout as he hears her footsteps on the stairs. “I need it for the gala tonight.”
“Are you sure you need that particular one?” she asks, entering their bedroom. He does not leave the walk-in closet, taking a moment to sift through the hamper.
“Yes,” he says, beginning to be quite frustrated. “Yes, it has to be that one.”
Sansa sighs. “That’s such a shame.” Something in her voice causes him to stand, making his way out of the closet. The sight that greets him makes him stop short.
“I think it might be ruined by the time we’re done with it.”
Because of course, there she stands, hair unbound and feet bare, wearing nothing but his green shirt. Petyr is also nothing if not adaptable, he thinks, as his thoughts take a completely 180. He cannot take his eyes from her barely-covered form, walking towards her with cat-like grace. “I’m afraid,” he begins, taking her by the waist and pulling her tightly against him, “you might be correct in that assumption, my love.”
Sansa giggles, looping her arms around Petyr’s neck and drawing him into a kiss. He scoops her up, tossing her onto the bed, following with a dark smirk on his face.
He’ll have to find another shirt for that party tonight.

I would go to the books themselves but the majority of them are currently at my partner's mother's house. A state away. And it won't be until the weekend after this one I see her. Goddamn our mini-two person ASOIAF book club. *flails in frustration and anger*
