The small girl, barely taller than him, glanced at him for a mere moment. In that moment her eyes settled on the food he had, she was pretty hungry since she hadn't eaten since breakfast and could really use some healing items. With her usual soft, sleepy voice she simply asked him, “Can I have your fries?”
… What? Normally he would’ve snapped without a second thought, but he had to make sure this wasn’t some five year old who didn’t know better ——— not because he would’ve felt bad, but because only a CHILD would be senseless enough to walk up to someone and ask for their food. But this chick? She was definitely older than five, certainly old enough to know better, and that just IRKS him all the more.
