all this talk about slimeknight if derek managed to live with the king in yellow inside of him but does no one consider the king in yellow turning derek’s mind against him? causing him visceral auditory and visual hallucinations? temporarily taking over his body at times to make him do horrible things? derek having to constantly fight and push back for control? has no one considered the possibly of derek BEGGING avery to leave him alone and when avery refuses, derek, for the first time, honestly raises his voice at avery and says; “LISTEN TO ME, AVERY. you CAN’T be here right now. i don’t think i am making myself clear. you don’t understand, i’m afraid i’m going to hurt you!”
