Maas Withdrawal Book Recommendations #1: “Angelfall” by Susan Ee
Click here for the full Book Recommendations list
Overview:
It’s been six weeks since angels of the apocalypse descended to demolish the modern world. Street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen year old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back.
Anything, including making a deal with an enemy angel.
Raffe is a warrior who lies broken and wingless on the street. After eons of fighting his own battles, he finds himself being rescued from a desperate situation by a half-starved teenage girl.
Traveling through a dark and twisted Northern California, they have only each other to rely on for survival. Together, they journey toward the angels’ stronghold in San Francisco where she’ll risk everything to rescue her sister, and he’ll put himself at the mercy of his greatest enemies for the chance to be made whole again.
Hating someone
Don't you think there have to be reason for hating someone I hate to say that but some peoples don't understand this. Annoying idiots are just trying to piss me off. I just wanted to tell you that don't hate someone without knowing person
Love = 1 Like
Hate = 1 Comment
I’m curious about something. Said something being just how extreme moods can be on the Internet. So, I’m proposing an experiment.
This experiment being to be a level-headed, middle ground person. In the most wild, untamed parts of some social media sites and check out what my reactions are.
So, in blunt terms, I’d go on say, a Pewdiepie (best example of rabid fanbase) video and simply comment something such as “This video was OK. Not the best. Not the worst.” and see what fire can get slung my way.
Of course, nothing can happen and that is a likely outcome. It doesn’t matter because this experience I’m going to start up is to see how long I can go before I get slammed with a flame war for not loving something or not hating it.
The sites I’ll use are (obviously) Tumblr, Youtube, Reddit, Imgur and Twitter.
If anyone has suggestions or support for this, just message me or whatever it is Staff calls it now.
Show And Don't Show. Like And Don't Like.
•Don't show what you can do. Show what you can't do. •Don't show your good at something or everything. •Show your bad at something AND everything. •Don't tell them what you got in a test if the answer is very good. •Show them only the bad ones. •Don't start talking about how good you were in something. •Don't show them your talents. (If you have a talent 'cause I don't have) •But show them little bit the style you like and little bit about the things you like. •Like the things YOU like. •Don't like the things you don't like.
Umbridge Question..... Like or Hate?
So far every Potterhead that I have come across in person, online, directly, or indirectly....they ALL hate Dolores Umbridge, (myself included). There is not one person who empathises with her, looks for a silver lining, or gives her any redeeming qualities.
My Question is... is there Anyone out there that actually Likes Umbridge in any way shape or form? Or is this the first person in existence that the world can agree on, that no one will ever like?
