also, gays. when i was younger the Primo gay media (that was well known and easily accessible at least) was brokeback mountain and as gorgeous as the movie and story are , it’s really fucking sad and i was like “well shit, not much to look forward to here huh?” but like now , In These Times kids are gonna watch Moonlight and be like “we here chiron” like ????? As thankful as i am that brokeback exists and like jammed a gay foot in hollywood’s door , i’m so glad younger people just discovering gay stories are gonna ya know watch brokeback and be like well that’s one way to end up OR WE REALLY HERE CHIRON
