Honestly? Horikoshi is such an asshole for pushing off a lotta of the thing bk does/thing that happen to bk as a joke. Even like with bakugou being npd coded or whatever its like that's even made to look less serious. I don't think horikoshi will ever say that or treat bakugou like a mentally Ill character, he's always gonna be "just a bully"/" irrational kid" for humor. I also don't like that bakugou's abuse is pushed off as a joke, and that a lot of the shit he did to deku was pushed off as a joke or just made out to seem not that serious since hori and the merch makers also force midoriya to care for him or try and make them look like friends. Fuck, you can even see this with izuku claiming deku as his hero name, he's not trying to overcome he's literally embrace the name(?) Which is a little backward since midoriya had that big narrative of trying to prove he's not weak or lame.
