Where the hell was he?
All he remembered was going after a girl; she screaming without him laying a claw on her, then all of a sudden she’s bleeding from a bitten hole in her neck and he’s yanked out, having to kill her attacker.
He’d only walked a block from the dead girl’s house before some man tried stabbing him in the side; presumably to rob him. Poor bastard got nothing but claws, and he got a gaping side wound in return.
At present, he merely tilted his head up to see the girl from under it, as he’d stopped to lean against a wall.
Why was she so worried about someone biting him? After clearing his throat, he answered. “Bitten?... No. Stabbed. Pretty badly, actually..”
“-Please, I need help.”
He hated feeling weak. He never wanted to feel that again.

An eyebrow slowly raised. When the girl came into his and Dallas’ office looking upset, he was ready to attack someone.
He had sat her down in Dallas’ chair because the Mastermind was out on a heist -and hey, Hox really didn’t give a flying fuck about what he thought when there was an upset heister-especially a kid- in his midst.
But when she said that? That specific phrase? It left a gnawing feeling in his gut. “Y’love.. Jasmine-y’don’t mean.. Fawn, love, no..”
That kid was a hostage.

Sokol tucks his arms under her, slowly lifting her. It wasn’t like she was very heavy. He’s carried heavier and lived.

She seems nervous. Henry tried his bestto seem non threatening, but..
Who was he kidding? He probably looked scary as all hell to a younger girl like this.
After watching her seem to understand his signing, he shook his head ‘no’ slowly to her first question; tapping at his voicebox and signing “broken.”
“My name is Henry. I am here because of my friend, Jimmy.”
(like-a-deer) Is your stomach upset? You seem uncomfortable…
He held his hand over his mouth for a moment before speaking around it.
“Y-yeah, just.. don’t worry about it.. Nerves from everything, y’know? ” It had been a while since he used the- well, acid attack is what he wanted to call it.
This girl obviously hadn’t noticed how green he was, and he didn’t want to frighten her by flat out admitting he’s a zombie with a battery acid container for a stomach.. Frank was blunt but not blunt enough to scare a younger girl.
After a moment, he managed to swallow back the acid; clearing his throat before talking.
“Ok,I-uh.. I think I’m good. Now, where are you heading to, miss…?”

Yikes, this poor thing looked scared.
Understandable, but Frank didn’t quite appreciate the knife pointed in his direction. He raised his hands after looking around, at least this maintenance hallway seemed secure for now.
He cracked a smile at the correction. At least she’s still thinking clearly enough to do that. “Heh-Yeah, live. Word blanked out on me a sec there..”
“Weapons? I-uh..”
Does he lie to intimidate her or tell the truth and possibly get stabbed? He didn’t want to scare a young girl like this more than she already was..
“..No. Broke it on the zombies coming in here.”
With his hands still raised, he pointed to the right with one while speaking.
“I’m trying to set up small safe areas in the mall as well as a main one. The nearest one is in the back of the as seen on tv store about eight stores down from here.”
He was praying she didn’t try to stab him. He did not want to fight a young girl.
