yeah sleepy boys aren’t canon and they aren’t technically brothers but Tommy *thought* they were! Tommy thought they were family! Tommy saw him as family! No of course Wilbur isn’t exactly manipulating his brother but he is manipulating someone who saw him as a brother and as a family
“Wilbur and Tommy aren't brothers bound by blood and therefore he isn't manipulating his brother and seeing their dynamic that way is wrong” when Tommy just yesterday said he thought of him as a brother as a family no they weren't brothers bound by blood canonically they were brothers bound by what Tommy thought of as mutual love and respect and care and that is so much dearer and so much more awful of Wilbur to break than a blood-bound
No Wilbur didn't manipulate his blood brother he did something much worse he manipulated his found brother who put more thought and love and care into him than "oh we're bound by blood"
